Hello out there! If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ve probably noticed my posts have been few and far between lately and for that I am sorry. I can’t offer any real excuses either, it’s mostly just a complete lack of time to be honest. I think of blog posts all the time but finding the time to type them out can be hard and when I do find the time, I’m over that last rant or whatever clever post I had in mind so I don’t want to post it any more and then I have nothing to write about! Total conundrum!
Right now the biggest thing going on in my life is our upcoming trip to the USA! In fact, today marks exactly three weeks until we go. At this time on the 23rd October we will be in a plane, heading to Auckland (where we will hang out for FIVE hours, ugh). And because time zones are crazy, we’ll technically be about to land in LA around now. EXCITING!
I won’t go into a big, in-depth “What we’re doing in America” post just yet, even though I am DYING to, but planning for it is pretty time consuming. Or should I say, thinking about it constantly as I have been doing is massively time consuming! We still have a bunch of stuff to book, buy tickets for, plan etc which we’ll be finishing off this week so the next couple of weeks will be stress-free and all about anticipating the best holiday ever!
In the meantime, our plans to keep low profiles have been hampered by being so extraordinarily busy. I guess it’s just that time of year? I’m finding it so hard to get a full day at home to do stuff that desperately needs doing! In fact spending any quiet time at home is going to be impossible now because I have to sew millions of hair bows for Supanova! I will actually be in the US when Supanova is on in Brisbane BUT we’ll still have a stall thanks to the help of my sister and a few lovely friends so mum will not be doing it all on her own. So while it’s not for five weeks, I have to get as much done as possible in the next three weeks! Wowza, this is gonna be intense!
Anyway, now you know what’s going on and apologise a MILLION time for being so slack!
