Where has Ruby been?

Hey guys, I thought I should explain the lack of new posts lately. Basically life has been super hectic for me and I really haven’t had a lot of time to sit down and write proper blog entries. First off there was that long weekend in Melbourne, then my dear friend Miss Mia Doll came up for an extra long weekend in Brisbane and. In between that I’ve been spending a tonne of time with my boyfriend Ben (and his sisters who were visiting from Canberra last weekend) so on top of working full time, going to the gym 3-4 times  a week and still doing stuff for Ruby Kawaii, I’ve just been out of time!

I had plans to get back into blogging properly last week now things have died down a bit… and then last Sunday I badly hurt my back (as the pic up top shows)! Well actually I think the damage has been a long time in the making and I’m awfully clumsy so am always tripping over and hurting myself, but on Sunday arvo I bent down to pick something up and BAM it was over. As a result I can’t sit for very long and have to alternate between lying down and standing up which is super annoying. So sitting down and typing for any decent length of time is proving problematic.

So let me assure you, my loyal readers, I have not given up on this little blog of mine. I have SO many blog entries in my head, but I just can’t sit down and type them all out. Now I’m back at work, I will see how my back goes with sitting for longer periods of time and hopefully be able to pump out a couple of posts this week. Believe me, I need it. Having all these words in my head with no outlet sucks balls!

Back pain is THE WORST, seriously, you don’t realise how much you use your back until you hurt it, it can effect anything. I actually have spinal stenosis, and they refuse to operate on me because I’m so young, which in a way is good, cause I dont want spinal surgery. Basically, I feel you! Rest up! I found period pain killers work better then normal pain killers, because they also encourage muscle relaxation.
