ALMOST. The only time I dislike the 'just be yourself' motto is when it gets in between the person and them finding employment. I know SO many people who colour their hair, have lots of facial piercings, cover themselves in tattoos etc. And then because "wah wah wah nobody will just accept me for who I am" they live off Government benefits. Change your hair, take out your piercings, cover your tattoos. Just play the game ffs. Stop stealing my tax paying dollars, and while you're at it... And i completely agree with you on all counts. I have to dress corporate at work but i still get to show my tattoos and wear red eyeshadow and have my hair however i want it. my mum is supportive too thank god. i get negative reactions when my leg tattoo is showing. mainly from old people and security guards at myers (never shopping at myers after THAT day - david jones is much better) and sometimes i think people think you can't hear them but they really need to shut the fuck up. sure sometimes i insult people in my head but i'd never say anything out loud. fistly i heaart both beth ditto (oh to look as hot as she does as a fat chick) and doe deere.
